School of Sustainability Since the inception of the school we have been in the process of developing an agriculture department within the school. For elementary and middle school students this will allow for them to get hands on experience in agriculture and sustainability, enhance their S.T.E.M learning, and compete at county fairs. For high school students they will have the added benefit of getting an agriculture certificate added to their diploma which unlocks enormous funds in scholarships. The Earth Rangers program is designed to give children a renewed spirit for sustainability. It will include an in-depth involvement with plant science, animal science, engineering, and archery. The course is laid out over 10 Sundays meeting from 10am-2pm every other week (twice/month). This will accommodate students who will be traveling long distances. Registration will include a t-shirt and national membership with USA Archery. $50 for Makkah International Institute students and $100 for guest students. |
